Dubrovnik is a city in southern Croatia fronting the Adriatic Sea. It's known for its distinctive Old Town, encircled with massive stone walls completed in the 16th century. Its well-preserved buildings range from baroque St. Blaise Church to Renaissance Sponza Palace and Gothic Rector's Palace, now a history museum. Paved with limestone, the pedestrianized Stradun (aka Placa) is lined with shops and restaurants.

Day at leisure, or: OPTIONAL: Full day excursion to Montenegro (passport or ID obligatory) visit Budva and Kotor; Located less than one hour's drive from Dubrovnik, Montenegro offers a natural beauty in combination with history and culture. Enjoy the drive around the Kotor Bay with its numerous small settlements; stop in Medieval Kotor to soak in the typical Mediterranean lifestyle; continue to Budva, the ancient town which is today a lively tourist resort. Day 4

Day5

Breakfast at the hotel Transfer and visit Medvedgrad with local guide (approx. duration 2,5 hr) The medieval noble town at the top of the southern slope of Medvednica is the most important example of medieval civil architecture in Zagreb. As the fortress was built on a steep slope, the view from its walls is magnificent. With its ideal location, close to the city, yet far away enough to give the visitor a sense of remoteness, tranquility, romanticism and mystery, a short trip to Medvegrad makes for a relaxing journey through medieval history. Return to Zagreb, free time for lunch on own. Transfer to Lonjsko Polje Nature Park (duration approx. 1,5h) Sightseeing tour of Lonjsko Polje Nature Park with local guide (duration approx. 3hrs) The Lonjsko Polje Nature Park is situated in the alluvial plain of the Sava River in the central Sava River basin region and represents a unique landscape and ecological systems of flooded river plain of the Danubian basin. Visit of the Plitvice National Park on own (duration approx. 3hrs) Plitvice National Park is one of the most beautiful and best preserved national parks in the country. This is why the entire lakes and surrounding area were declared a national park in 1949 and are listed on the UNESCO`s list of World Heritage Sites because of its exceptional beauty. It is a valley situated between high forested mountains in which lie, one below another, a string of sixteen beautiful lakes of crystal blue and green waters. Fed by small streams and brooks, they spill into each other in 92 foaming cascades and thundering waterfalls. The Plitvice lakes` scenery will simply delight you regardless whether you are walking the paths and wooden bridges, taking a boat ride or just taking photographs. Free time for lunch. Continuing transfer to Zadar (duration approx.2hrs) Zadar sightseeing tour with local guide (approx. duration 1,5 hrs) Zadar is the oldest Slavic city on the Adriatic Coast with many historical monuments such as Roman Forum, St . Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Zadar to Paklenica National Park (duration approx. 1hrs) Visit to Paklenica National Park with local guide (approx. duration 3 hrs) The area of Paklenica National Park stretches on the littoral slope of South Velebit. It covers the area of torrent flows of Velika Paklenica and Mala Paklenica, and their distinctive canyons carved vertically into the south slopes of Velebit and the broader surrounding area. The relatively small area has an abundance of geomorphologic phenomena and forms, diverse flora and fauna, attractive landscapes and intact nature. Free time for lunch. Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Opatija to Risnjak National Park (duration approx. 1hrs) Visit the Risnjak National Park with local guide (approx. duration 3 hrs) The park is part of the Dinaric mountain range and is in the region of Gorski Kotar, which is well known as the green lungs of Croatia as the area has extensive tree coverage. The National Park covers 63.5 square kilometers. The whole terrain except the mountain peaks is wooded and is characteristic of the Risnjak landscape. This park has varied climatic influences, which explains the type of flora in this area. There are over 4000 different plants in the park that include some rare species such as edelweiss and the black vanilla orchid. The animals in the park comprise of over 100 brown bears, lynx, chamois, deer, wild bear, wolves and wild cats. Free time for lunch. Continuing transfer to Postojna in Slovenia (duration approx. 2h) 3 Visit of the Postojna cave (Duration approx. 1,5hrs) ; Postojna is the largest known cave system in Slovenia. There are longer caves in the world, but a visit to a cave such as Postojna deserves full attention due to the diversity of shapes, expansive cave areas, stalactite and stalagmite formations and water characteristics. Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Ljubljana to Bled (duration approx. 1hrs) BLED; is famous for the Lake Bled, which makes it a major tourist attraction. The lake surrounds Bled Island, the only natural island in Slovenia. The island has several buildings, the main one being the Pilgrimage Church of the Assumption of Mary. Free time for lunch on own and wondering around the lake. Continuing transfer to Bohinj. Bohinj is an alpine valley and a municipality in the north-west of Slovenia, in the Julian Alps. It is recognizable by its periglacial lake, Lake Bohinj (Slovenian Bohinjsko jezero, German Wocheinersee). Some 20km long and 5km wide, Bohinj is the name given to the entire Sava Bohinjka basin southwest of Bled. Return to Ljubljana. Overnight at the hotel in Ljubljana area

Go back in history and visit one the most significan tourist region in Croatia and its beautiful towns. Episcopal Complex of the Euphrasian Basilica sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1,5 hrs) Euphrasius Basilica or the Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption of Mary is the episcopal complex, including, apart the basilica itself, a sacristy, a baptistery and the bell tower of the nearby archbishop's palace, and is one of the best examples of early Byzantine sacral art in the Mediterranean region. 2 The most striking features of the basilica are its mosaics, dating from the 6th century, and which are considered amongst the finest examples of Byzantine art in the world. Continue to Rovinj – a typical medieval Venetian town, distinctive for its romantic narrow little streets and the imposing church of its patron saint, St. Euphemia. Free time for lunch on own. Breakfast at the hotel Transfer from Zadar to Krka National Park (duration approx. 1h) Visit to Krka National Park with local guide (duration approx. 2hrs) Surrounded by steep-sided canyons, along which runs the wide and plain rocky area, Krka surprises and enchants visitors with the force and blue colour of its waters, the noise of its cascades, the freshness of its scent, the numerous perennial - though not always visible springs, its rude existence and legends. In summer, it waters thirsty surroundings, supplies coolness to the weary passenger, gives life to fish, plants and birds. The Krka National Park is 12 km far from Sibenik and covers 142.2 sq km of which 25.6 sq km is under water. In a wonderful natural setting, water forms beautiful waterfalls which cascade over 17 natural barriers and precipitate 45 metres. After visiting the national park, transfer to Sibenik for third UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour. Free time for lunch. The Cathedral of St James sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1,5 hr) The Cathedral of St James in Sibenik (1431-1535), bears witness to the considerable exchanges in the field of monumental arts between Northern Italy, Dalmatia and Tuscany in the 15th and 16th centuries. The three architects who succeeded one another in the construction of the Cathedral - Francesco di Giacomo, Georgius Mathei Dalmaticus and Niccolò di Giovanni Fiorentino - developed a structure built entirely from stone and using unique construction techniques for the vaulting and the dome of the Cathedral. The form and the decorative elements of the Cathedral, such as a remarkable frieze decorated with 71 sculptured faces of men, women, and children, also illustrate the successful fusion of Gothic and Renaissance art. Breakfast at the hotel In the morning - fourth UNESCO World Heritage side in our tour: Historical complex of Split sightseeing tour with local guide (duration approx. 2 hrs) The old town of Split is built on and around the spectacular Roman Palace erected by the Roman Emperor Diocletian (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the 4th century. The walking tour starts with a visit to the cellars of the Palace that are still very well preserved. The cellars offer a good view at how the life in the Palace was organized. Other sites such as the Golden Gate, the Silver Gate, the Peristyle Square etc. will be seen from the outside. Transfer from Split to Trogir for fifth UNESCO World Heritage site in our tour (Duration approx. 45 min) Free time for lunch. Historic City of Trogir sightseeing with local guide (duration approx. 1 hr) Trogir is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications.
